Öko-Tex certifierade kläder från Lingon & Blåbär

The Oeko-Tex brand that is found on the majority of our clothing is proof that they are Oeko-Tex certified Class I, which has the most rigorous demands of all the classes. Oeko-Tex is an international supervisory body that is world-leading in fabrics and guarantees that the clothing does not contain any harmful additives that can be dangerous for our skin or health. Some examples of what is checked is among other things colour fastness, pH-value, formaldehyde, heavy metals, acrylamides, pesticides, flame retardants, phthalates, volatile organic values and biocides.

Oeko-Tex classes
There are four different classes within Oeko-Tex (Class I, II, III and IV). The requirements are the highest for Class I which is suited for children and people with sensitive skin. Class IV has the least stringent requirements, and may only be used for textiles that are not used as clothing, for instance tablecloths and furniture coverings.
